More than 60 people took part in a bicycle parade in the capital

More than 60 people - professional and amateur bicycle of all ages took part in the morning bicycle parade in South Park in the capital today, April 9, 2014 . The event is part of the project "Bicycle - Ecology and Health" initiated by Overgaz and funded by the European Business Congress. As a partner of the initiative, DRAG team lead the parade.

The participants did two laps along a path of 4 km. Students of 9th , 10th and 11th class of school " Hristo Toprakchiev " Bozhurishte rode DRAG bicycles, produced for the project.

Mr. Alexander Ishkov , head of management energy saving and ecology in "Gazprom " , welcomes the audience to live healthy, active and environmentally friendly . The mayor of Bozhurishte Mr. Asparouh Asparouhov greeted the participants in the initiative.

Among the official guests were representatives of the project partners - "Gazprom ", "Vemeks ", "Srbijagas " Overgaz , Non-governmental Ecological Fund , Municipality Bozhurishte , DRAG, European School "Leo Tolstoy " , Berlin and Moscow State University.

The spring bicycle parade in South Park is the latest initiative in the project "Bicycle - ecology and health." From October 2013 Bozhurishte already has a bike park, equipped with 25 wheels . The municipality is in the top four, whose inhabitants acquire a free bike . The other three are Satalitse (Czech Republic) , Sochi (Russia) and Novi Sad (Serbia) .
